New to the Army, first duty station... deployed!
We are new to the Army, we were married at the beginning of the year and he left for basic shortly after. We were told our first duty station would be somewhere in the Continental US, and we would be relocating there sometime in September. Plans changed,( as we're learning happens a lot in the Army -haha) and he was sent overseas. Since we never moved to a post, I'm living with my parents while he's gone. We do have some family support but not NEARLY enough. I"ve tried getting involved on twitter and Facebook with other military wives, and I know a couple from High School but I read somwhere recently that every Unit has an attached to it. Is that true? If so, how do I go about contacting them? I feel like I'm alone when it comes to this deployment. I like talking to some people over the internet but I feel so out of the loop! Thank you!!
