So NO ONE has been to Arnold AFB, TN
I usually lurk on this site, I don't think I have ever posted before. Anyway, we have been at Arnold for a year now. I love it here, but I am a Tennessee girl. Its really not much of an AF base, there are less than 100 active duty people here. We have a small commissary and a small shopette size bx, no clothes or anything, mainly just shoppette stuff. There is no medical, well there is an aid station, but that is it, so we all, including DH who is AD, see the same civilian doctor and dentist. It is wonderful not having to deal with an MTF. They are building brand new housing, but its kinda out in the middle of nowhere. So we live in Tullahoma. I love Tullahoma, I would love to stay here. The schools are awesome. We have three kids, one in high school, one in middle school and one in elementary school. So if you need any school info, I can help you out there. We are on the year round system (well 8 weeks off in the summer and 6 weeks vacation in the school year) school starts here on wednesday. I have met several people that pay to send their kids to tullahoma schools rather any of the county schools. Anyway, hopefully you will like it here. I do. I will be happy to answer any questions you have if I can. If not I can find out.
I am moving to the Arnold AFB, TN area and apparently no one has been there before. I have looked on several sites & forumens but I am finding nothing on the area. Its frustrating! Has anyone been to Tennessee?
