10. Caribbean Resorts

Like the Atlantis Resort and Casino, Paradise Island, Bahamas, Caribbean resorts are a popular choice for military families. Many of these resorts feature activities and entertainment for a range of ages, from toddlers to octogenarians.  These activities can include everything from live shows to boat rentals, water parks, sandy beaches with a fully equipped wait staff and bar to other more unique attractions.  The Atlantis Resort, for example, boasts 11 exhibit lagoons and over 50,000 animals such as sharks, lionfish and stingrays.  And, most resorts also offer a variety of restaurants featuring familiar fare and local island delicacies.  Optional all-inclusive resorts provide everything for the guest, meals and entertainment, so your only option is to sit back and relax.

9. Disney World and Disney Land.

These destinations are incredibly popular with all families, military especially.  In fact, many resorts and parks offer military discounts.  Disney World and Disney Land both feature numerous attractions, a large variety of parks, easy transportation to, the parks, attached and varied resorts, hundreds of restaurants and water fun.  Both Disney World and Disney Land are in warm locales, so they provide a great escape for families as the weather chills up north.  Disney Land, in particular, is located near California beaches and is surrounded by other entertainment and military bases.

Ski Resorts, like the Snowbird Ski &Summer Resort in Snowbird, Utah, are a popular choice for military families, especially those who are stationed in warmer climates. Most resorts offer skiing lessons and ski rentals, but if skiing isn’t your thing, there are also plenty of additional outdoor activities.  The Snowbird Resort, for example, offers ice-skating, snow tubing, snowshoe tours and luge sleds.  And, like many resorts, there are restaurants and a spa on site. These resorts don’t just offer winter activities, but can also provide gorgeous scenery during the summer months, as well.

7. Hawaii

Hawaii features year-round pleasant weather, gorgeous beaches, breathtaking views and stunning volcanoes.  Most flights from the contiguous US fly into to Honolulu International on Oahu.   Some flights will fly into the big island or in rare cases, Maui.  Your best option on Waikiki Beach is the Hale Koa, which caters to military and offers discounted rates.

Las -vegas -strip -night -shot -659096-m6. Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States, and with it’s location near many military bases, it’s also a popular destination for military members, couples and families. Certain hotels may offer a military discount, so be sure to check.  Las Vegas is more than just gambling, too.  Since the 1980s, Las Vegas has started to cater even more to families.  There is a range of entertainment, from theme parks to spectacular shows with the nation’s most sought after performers.

5. Williamsburg, Virginia

Williamsburg, Virginia is a beautiful destination located within a few hours of many military bases.  Not only is it replete with our nation’s history, but also it is also located close to theme parks, water theme park hotels and the expansive beaches of Virginia Beach.  Explore other activities like boating, golf and tennis.  Kids and adults alike will delight at historical reenactments and the plethora of dining experiences.

4. Seoul, Korea

Many military members and their families are stationed overseas.  One of our biggest vacation destinations for those stationed overseas is Seoul, Korea.  Seoul is a vibrant, modern city with world famous nightlife and authentic culture.  Seoul is the largest city proper in the developed world with a population of over ten million.  It boasts four historical UNESCO World Heritage sites and iconic modern architecture, including the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain, the world’s largest bridge fountain.  Take advantage of Seoul’s appealing shopping district and edible delicacies.

3. Caribbean Cruise

Cruises are also popular with military families.  Take the kids along on a Disney Cruise or make it a couple’s vacation and sail around the Caribbean islands. If you are short on time, choose a three day cruise or if you have more, try a seven or ten day adventure.  Cruises are ideal because they offer the ability to explore many different islands and cultures in a single vacation, but you never have to move your belongings from island to island.  Also, many cruises are well known for their spectacular shows and dining.

Florida offers a wealth of vacation opportunities, from the sandy beaches of Pensacola to the party vibe or Miami and the laid back lounging of Key West.  We frequently book travel to Orlando because of all the theme parks-not limited to just Disney, but also Universal Studios and Sea World. Also Tampa/Busch Gardens is popular. In the winter the cruise ships leave mainly from Florida, so not only do we book the cruises, we also book hotels for before and after, as well as other activities in the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area. Some customers make South Beach their final destination for fun in the sun. Yet another popular Florida destination is the Florida Keys.  Key West is often booked as a couple’s vacation.  Individuals who enjoy fishing might enjoy the deep-sea trips offered out of Key Largo and Marathon.

1. Home

The number one destination, of course, is always home.  In fact, beyond any other flight we book, ‘quick flights,’ or last minute flights are our biggest seller.  Whether your home is in Chicago or Panama City, Florida, we can help you find your way.
