Sometimes, we just need to confess. We need to get some things off of our chest. We need to just say that one thing that has been plaguing our hearts and minds, and if we don’t, we might explode.
Every now and then, we receive submissions from our readers that are very personal in nature. You may have read our “Spouse Confessions” yourself at one point or another.
These stories cover all sorts of topics, ranging from dealing with our kids to sexual abuse in the military. Some of them are heartbreaking, many of them are controversial in some way, and there is one thing that they all have in common: They are true life stories written by real military spouses.

These are the stories that we might have always wanted to say out loud, but never could. These stories are what bring to light our truths.
And we want to hear them.
“Spouse Confessions” is a safe space to anonymously tell the world about your experience. It’s a place where you can go against the grain and state your opinions, fears, tragedies, or issues. It’s a place where you won’t be labeled or trolled or otherwise shut down. It’s a place where you can tell your whole truth without fear of retribution.
It’s a place where you can show other people who might be experiencing the same thing that they are not alone.
If you want to share your truth with us, we would be honored to publish it for you. All we ask is that you don’t use names, specific installations, or anything that would compromise anyone’s identity (including your own).
Are you ready to give it a shot? Are you ready to get that heavy weight off your chest and bring those fears or injustices to light? Are YOU ready to confess?
If you’d like to get a better idea of how “Spouse Confessions” works, we encourage you to check out of a few of our previous submissions.
