Mattrice Williamson
Mattrice, a devoted advocate for the military community and Marine spouse of nearly 30 years, lives by the motto "Living in Purpose on Purpose." Her commitment to leadership and inspiration stems from her personal experiences, having undergone seventeen Permanent Change of Station (PCS) moves with her Marine husband and three young adult children, two of whom serve in the military. As a parent of both an enlisted service member and a service academy attendee, Mattrice intimately understands the emotional spectrum involved in sending a child into the military. This firsthand experience fuels her dedication to supporting military families, raising awareness, and fostering networks to address unique challenges. Recognizing pressing issues within the military community, Mattrice took action, intensifying her efforts to connect with advocacy trailblazers. Her advocacy work intertwines with her roles as a friend, spouse, and parent, creating a compelling narrative of personal connection and purpose. In addition to her advocacy, Mattrice is an entrepreneur, owning an event planning business that aligns with her passion for community building. To address challenges comprehensively, she launched the "Building Our Support System - B.O.S.S." podcast. This platform empowers military spouses through actionable advice, resilience stories, and community building. Covering diverse topics such as communication strategies, career development, self-care, and relationships during deployments, the podcast aims to unite and empower the military community in navigating challenges and celebrating triumphs.
