Military spouses, servicemembers, and veterans are invited to attend the free 2014 Military Spouse Symposium “Keeping a Career on the Move®,” at Camp Lejeune, N.C., hosted by the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), Wednesday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. (Registration opens at 8:15), at the Marston Pavilion, Bldg. 730, Seth Williams Blvd, Camp Lejeune, N.C. 28542.

The symposium opens with the Spouse & Policy Panel focusing on tips and information about state policies, national programs, and local employment and educational opportunities that assist military spouses to advance their career opportunities.

During lunch, military spouses will lead a “Real Spouses, Real Stories” discussion. Attendees will hear from fellow military spouses who have navigated a wide variety of industries and strategic volunteerism opportunities to keep their careers on the move.
Five-minute resume critiques and professional LinkedIn photographs will be available throughout the day.
