The numbers are in and it is a refreshing view of our future. Small businesses across America are optimistic about America’s economic outlook.
The Paychex½IHS, Small Business Jobs Index, measures the month to month changes in small business employment and according to a recent Paychex report, employment within small business has increased over the past six months with Tennessee leading the way. Optimism has returned and it is due to President Trump’s pro-business agenda. However, Kate Rodgers, of CNBC, noted that although there is an increase in job openings, employers are struggling to find skilled workers.
America’s Career Force Inc., an IRS-approved public charity with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, can help companies struggling to find incredible talent. America’s Career Force supports keeping military families together by connecting military spouses with companies that offer remote professional careers.
“The men and women who make up America’s military spouses are an untapped resource within the work environment, largely because of our transient lifestyle. However, with the rise in popularity of remote careers, America’s military spouses can continue to pursue a professional career, regardless of where the military sends them. It is our mission at ACF to champion military spouse professional aspirations through remote career opportunities,” said Leigh Searl, President and Founder of America’s Career Force.
Small businesses are utilizing the 100 percent free services America’s Career Force offers and hiring top military spouse and veteran talent. Karen Miller, President of Design2Train, an award-winning instructional design company, said, “America’s Career Force offers many great candidates to help small business owners like me to get projects completed and help veterans and their families. My company has hired two candidates this month and we expect to hire more in the near future. Help keep Americans working, check out this resource!”
America’s Career Force is the bridge that connects military spouses with companies offering remote, portable careers, resolving the 90 percent unemployment and underemployment disconnect military spouses face.
The strength of our nation’s economy is rooted in small business and the strength of our military is rooted in military families. Military families endure challenges that are unique to the lifestyle. General Ray Odierno (R) said about his wife upon his retirement, “She sacrificed her entire life for me.”
It doesn’t have to be that way anymore. We live in a global economy with incredible technology at our fingertips. Harnessing the available technology and leveraging the incredible talent military spouses offer will only strengthen small businesses, our economy and our military.
