I believe that consistency in educational opportunities for our military children is one of the most important issues facing military families. When faced with continual moves, it becomes difficult to navigate the school systems in different locations and those issues continue to grow as children get older. I’m passionate about this topic because I am the mother of three and have personally witnessed some of the educational challenges military kids face. I hope to connect with other spouses of all service branches to find out what they are doing so I can help them promote their passion. I want to use my online platform to present their efforts on my program, “Mimosas in the Morning.” I believe in #MilitarySpouseOnAMission. I hope to encourage mentorship across the board and empower spouses to be who they are and to recognize how their gifts are important to our military spouse community.
