The Bad – It wasn’t a great year for military families. The focus on cutting troops while still deploying and the crazy world events don’t leave us feeling warm and fuzzy.
8. Worrying about new threats in different parts of the world that add to our uncertainty about what it means for our spouses.
9. Less money, more cuts.
10. Changes in Tricare pharmacy procedures mean an increase in wait times, from one hour to three hours!
11. Feeling like no one appreciates the decades of hard work service members have dedicated to their country.
12. Being told our spouses aren’t needed, simply because a certain number has to be reached.
13. Technology has gone from promoting esprit de corps to reducing it. With Facebook pages devoted to making units look stupid, there is a constant competition to be “the worst,” and its effecting moral.
14. We’re losing tradition. Some of the best parts about the military are the traditions that have been passed down for 200 years. But our new milspouses don’t even know they exist. How can we change this?
