5. Who to avoid

There is always at least one in every neighborhood – the gossip. When you land in a new place, there’s no question your soon-to-be new friends will be dying to tell you who to stay far away from.
6. Which pizza places deliver to your neighborhood

Pizza has to be one of the first meals to hit every counter after a military move. If you didn’t order it for your movers, you’re probably ordering it for yourself and your family as you begin unpacking boxes.
Because we’ve all been there before, we all know which places deliver to our neighborhoods and there is something rewarding about being the first to share great pizza suggestion with a new neighbor.
7. Military life is hard

Even if you run into a spouse who hasn’t experienced a deployment, chances are he or she has been along for long lengths of time here and there and can relate to you on many levels.
8. Friends truly are our family and no matter the distance, we will always bet here for one another.
