the depths of your answer to our Nation’s call
Never faltering, you bore the shield
of an integrity unequaled
And I’ve stood alongside
while you shone a beacon of light
to hunt down evil
in the darkest depths of humanity
A hero in a hundred thousand ways
your courage stirs me to tears while
the years revealed a metamorphosis
from a man to
seasoned warrior
Always resolute
Always determined
Success has been hard won
But you never gave up
Your true north is now my own
your instinct unwavering
Guiding everyone around you when
all seemed broken
and lost to shadow
I and your boys cling to your compass
