Luke’s Wings Gives Back In A Big Way!

Looking for a concrete way to give back to our veterans?

Luke’s Wings is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving wounded warriors during hospitalization and rehabilitation by uniting these heroes with their families. The road to recovery for wounded service members can be a long one, and while the military provides up to three flights for qualifying family members, it is often not enough for long-term recovery. And that’s where Luke’s Wings steps in. Founded in 2008, Luke’s Wings recognizes the difficulties faced during such a traumatic time and plans the trips, purchases tickets, and coordinates with other non-profits for accommodations and other services.

The Carlson Family

Luke’s Wings has expanded to reunite family members with veterans in hospice care, and also serves the Special Operations Command as part of the SOCOM Care Coalition.

In honor of Veterans Day, throughout the month of November, Delta will match any donated SkyMiles given to Luke’s Wings. Visit Delta’s “Donate Miles” and be sure to choose Luke’s Wings on the ‘select charity’ section.

Miles donated during this period will help support the No Soldier Spends Christmas Alone campaign, which aims to bring Wounded Warriors together with their families during the holiday season.

“Luke’s Wings unites wounded warriors, veterans, and heroes with their families when they need them the most.”
