MilHousing Network and the Movie Night In, has Done It Again

The Movie Night In is a free event hosted by the MilHousing Network community. It first debuted at the beginning of the pandemic as the brain child of Lindsey Litton and Karina Gafford, Co- Founders of the MilHousing Network.

The MilHousing Network connects military families with military real estate experts throughout the United States in order to help military home buyers achieve their goal of finding a house to call home.

The MilHousing Network Movie Night In stands to serve as an opportunity for our community to get back to first priority things – like spending an evening at home to bond over a family movie. In the midst of all of the chaos of the last year and a half, a little joy can go a long way.

On July 23rd, over 2,600 military community members cuddled up on the couch for family fun with Toy Story. Thanks to Caliber Home Loans, a Platinum sponsor for this event, and Armed Forces Insurance, over 400 hand-packed snack boxes were sent to military families all over the country to enjoy.

Children squealed with joy as they dressed up in costume, snagged some tasty snacks, and spent some quality time with their loved ones. Participants shared their fun by snapping selfies, teaching crafts, and making connections in the official MilHousing Network Movie Night Group. Over $1,000 worth of gift cards, t-shirts, and some custom popcorn makers were given away.  You can grab your MHN t-shirts here!

In addition to creating space for military families to reconnect, MilHousing Network is passionate about equipping today’s military homebuyer with all the essential information they need to purchase a new home. Military Community members need to understand how to go about the process and get connected with resources to educate and encourage them.

“With the current housing market climate, it is more important than ever before to be prepared and informed around today’s home buying experience. Milhousing Network is here to serve the military community through our military focused prescreened realtors and our expert team of supporting military spouses. We not only serve military families; we are military families.”

In fact, the MilHousing Network has a specially curated group for first-time home buyers. In this group, members can connect with real estate experts, gain insight into the home buying process, and be encouraged by the MHN community members.
