Runway of Hope: Pink Warrior Angels’ Annual Fundraiser Shines Light on Cancer Warriors

In its fifth year, Pink Warrior Angels is gearing up for its annual fundraising gala, the Runway of Hope. This milestone event promises an evening filled with courage and shared stories, bringing together cancer survivors and fighters on a glamorous runway. As a community pillar of strength, Pink Warrior Angels, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, is dedicated to providing tangible support and encouragement to those battling cancer, offering a glimmer of hope in the face of adversity.

A Glamorous Night with a Purpose

Set against the scenic backdrop of Knoxville Ranch just outside of Waco, TX, this year’s Runway of Hope is poised to be an unforgettable experience. The event, sponsored in part by Walmart, New Rez, and HEB, is the brainchild of Julie Moser, the passionate leader and founder of Pink Warrior Angels. A two-time breast cancer survivor, Moser is not just a survivor but a warrior advocating for others in their pursuit of healing.

“When someone is diagnosed with cancer, the stress associated with the diagnosis is difficult to describe. Whether someone has insurance or not, the financial hardships that are coming are almost like the fine print on every piece of paper. We exist to alleviate some of the financial burden placed upon cancer patients and give them the peace of mind to pursue their health,” says Julie Moser.

A Night of Empowerment and Connection

Runway of Hope is not your typical gala; it’s a celebration of life and the indomitable spirit of those thriving after cancer. The evening features models who are either cancer survivors or currently undergoing treatment, strutting down the runway with grace and strength. The event also includes an auction, offering attendees an opportunity to contribute to the cause while taking home meaningful mementos.
