4. Show them you care.
Or, to quote another popular-slash-slightly-terrifying adage: “Kill them with kindness.” Like, really hurt ‘em with niceness. Give it all ya got. Sometimes others just need an example of how they could be. Give them a person to emulate, to effect very real change in their hearts.
You can’t make them change, but you can be the reason they change.
So, friends, you don’t have to be in Wonderland to get rid of the flower power. You can start here. Now! Nip it in the bud—pun intended. As the Caterpillar wisely says to Alice, “Don’t let those dried out little annuals get you down, kid– they’re just gonna wind up sitting around in somebody’s imitation cut glass vase for three days ‘til they wither and die, then it’s out with the garbage!”
