Nominate The Amazing Dad In Your Life for Esquire

All-Star Dad to be honored at 75th Annual Father of the Year Awards in New York City

The National Father’s Day Committee, in partnership with Esquire and the Sani Family Foundation are looking to honor your All-Star Dad! This is a national honor that recognizes a special dad who embodies the values of fatherhood, and serves as a model of dedication, leadership and service to both his own children and his community. The award will be presented at a luncheon commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Father of the Year Awards to be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the New York Marriot Marquis Hotel.

The selected father will win a trip for four to NYC, to be honored along with a group of distinguished fathers, among them Jerry Storch, CEO of Hudson’s Bay Company. To nominate your father as this year’s All-Star Dad, please visit www.allstardad.org and submit an essay of 250 words or less explaining why the father you’re nominating should receive this honor.

“Esquire is proud to support the 2016 National Father’s Day Committee and celebrate their 75th Anniversary Year. We are excited to honor the notable leaders, executives and everyday fathers, who are being recognized by this distinguished organization,” said Jack Essig, SVP, Publishing Director and Chief Revenue Officer of Hearst Men’s Group.

Over the course of 75 years, the Father of the Year Awards has recognized some of the most notable men in our nation’s history, including Presidents John F. Kennedy and George W. Bush, General Colin Powell, Archie Manning, Mike Krzyzewski, and Shaquille O’Neal. Former All-Star Dads include Major Jackson Drumgoole II and Captain Scott M. Smiley. The Council has always strived to support worthwhile concerns, while enhancing the meaning of Father’s Day and encouraging universal observance.

Proceeds from the event benefit Save the Children’s U.S. Programs. As part of its commitment to support meaningful philanthropies dealing with issues affecting mothers, fathers and children, the National Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council, Inc. has donated more than $30 million to date to meaningful charities nationwide.
