“Jeopardy!” and “Wheel of Fortune” aren’t playing around when it comes to marking Veterans Day this week.
The game shows, in cooperation with the veterans’ support campaign Got Your 6, are using this week’s episodes to spotlight those who have served.
In one bizarre moment on Tuesday’s Wheel, a woman in the lead repeatedly throws out “Z” and “X” as answers, even refusing to answer at one point, so she could purposely lose the round and give some cash to her fellow veterans.
The kind woman was already in the lead for the episode with more than $13,000 in cash, so she went on to the final round.
