How do we serve each other when literally an ocean separates us at times? Care packages don’t have to be elaborate and expensive, in fact, the best care packages can’t be found on Pinterest. Authentic and genuine care packages can contain a favorite candy bar, a t-shirt with Justin Timberlake’s highly attractive mug plastered on it, or anything that the receiver will immediately recognize as an act of thoughtful and personal giving. Such packages don’t need to be “instagram worthy,” or picture perfect, rather; they need only to exhibit a theme of personalized authenticity. No occasion is needed to send, in fact, a “Just because I miss you,” type theme may find itself on your friend’s doorstep at precisely the right time.
