Empowering Others
Christina McBride is a mother of two little girls, military spouse, clean eater and super athlete. She’s a certified USA Triathlon Coach, USA Cyclist Coach, personal trainer and spin instructor. Her list is long of sponsorships and medals. Christina has a gift – she inspires others. She lives a life of servitude when it comes to being healthy.
She recently reached into her local community to start a High School Mountain Bike Team. She wanted expose teens to the sport she loves. She pulled kids from all over the community, but really concentrated on military teens struggling to fit in to their new assignment. She started with only two riders, but has since grown the sport into a recognized high school sport in her community. She’s coached these military teens every week – taking them off the couch and into the great outdoors. Together, they are camping and racing, giving them the confidence they need to become high performance athletes.
When asked to give us a recipe that best represents her, she submitted one of her favorite power green smoothies. She calls it Energy in the Glass!
