Becoming “Normal” Again: UN-Geobaching

March 9th I sat down and did some math. I really shouldn’t have done that because instead of calming me down it made me start to panic.

Couldn’t breathe, sick to my stomach, completely irrational panic.

I realized that as of that day my husband and I had known each other 1330 days. We had been married for 1166 days. We had spent 365 days apart because of overlapping deployments. In all that time we spent a grand total of 145 days together. And everything was about to change. We were FINALLY going to un-geobachelor. We were FINALLY going to be living under the same roof. We were FINALLY going to be a nice “normal” family again. And I had no idea how to process that.
