Following in the footsteps of Lisa Jackson and Mary Burton, New York Times bestselling author Alexandra Ivy pens another novel of pure romantic suspense about what happens when a true crime writer is targeted by a fearsome copy-cat killer. Thrilling and terrifying, Alexandra Ivy proves once again she is a powerful new voice in romantic suspense.

Hello Readers!

Thirty-four years ago, I became a military spouse. I was a young and newlywed and had never been far from home so when we were moved to an airbase across the country, I’ll admit that I was nervous. But it took less than a week for me to discover the wonderful comfort of becoming a tight-knit community. We worked together, played together, and when anyone was in need, you could bet we would all pull together to help.

During our time in the service, I learned what it meant to be a soldier. I expected the men and women who served our country to be brave, and loyal, and committed to their duty. But, I discovered that everyone in uniform had another quality…the need to protect.

That’s what I tried to capture in my books. First in my ARES series that focuses on five men who recently returned from Afghanistan to set up their own security business. And more recently in my Agency series. In What Are You Afraid Of? Griff Archer uses his skills with computers to create programs specifically designed for law enforcement as well as the Department of Defense. And when it comes to the need to protect, he will go to any lengths to defend those he loves.

A huge thank you to all who served and their fabulous spouses!

~Alexandra Ivy
