Last Minute Christmas Gifts for Any Budget

Christmas confession here: I LOVE Christmas, like Buddy the Elf style love, but the closer I get to Christmas I start to feel a little bit….Scroogey.

I know, I know, It’s embarrassing! How can a Christmas fanatic confess to having a bit of Scrooge in her? The truth is, sometimes the most wonderful time of year sure can feel like the most wonderfully expensive time of year.

The closer Christmas approaches the more I find myself pinching my pennies, frantically checking my bank balance and cringing when I remember yet another holiday gift I forgot to buy someone. It’s difficult when you want to spoil your friends and family with gifts but may not have the funds necessary. The great news is, with a little searching, I discovered you really can find a Christmas gift for everyone on your list, no matter what your Christmas budget is.

AND with Amazon Prime, you can still get it delivered by Christmas Day for Free!

A game that allows kids to watch as their siblings get blasted in the face with a pie. Does anything more need to be said? You know they’ll love it.

Bless the kids for being easily amused. I have it on the good authority of a three year old that this is where it’s at for kids this year. It’s the gift that is sure to have the entire family bursting into giggles all year long.

Under $30:

For her: An Alex and Ani Bracelet – $28.00.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say, yes, the cliché is true, women DO love shiny things and what better than one of these adorable Alex and Ani Bracelets? The best part is they come with all kinds of different charms so you can match one to her personality.

For him: The Chillsner – $29.95.

If your man drinks beer, or even soda, he will love this Chillsner. It’s a beer cooler that chills any drink almost immediately and better yet, continues to keep it cold, meaning he’ll never have to wait to drink a beer out of that six pack he brought home from the store again.

For him: Beer of the Month Club – $27.95 per month.

This is the gift that keeps on giving! One of my favorite things about this gift is that you can choose to give just one month or if you want to do a bigger gift, you can sign your recipient up for three months and pay as each shipment goes out, breaking up the cost to you. The man in your life will love receiving a mystery box of craft beer every month! If your man isn’t a beer guy there’s lots of other monthly shipments you can choose, everything from a cigar club to a bacon club! Mmmm, who doesn’t love bacon?!

For the Kids: A Radio Flyer tri-cycle – $60.99.

Every kid loves a trike! Gift the little one in your family with this adorable Radio Flyer for the beginning of their biking adventures.

Honorable Mention: Gift Cards

A gift card to their favorite store or restaurant. Gift cards get a bad rep for being impersonal but I don’t know anyone that actually doesn’t love a gift card. Bonus points if you get them a card to a place you know they love, like their favorite restaurant or clothing store. You know they’ll be excited to use it and it gives them an opportunity to treat themselves during a time of year when otherwise they likely wouldn’t be able to.
