The Black Friday ads for all major retailers are now out. We’ve combed through them to find the best Black Friday deals that are actually worth your time and hard-earned cash.
This year, we had so much trouble narrowing it down that we decided to expand the list from 25 to 30. Trends we’re seeing include digital home assistants like Amazon Echo and Google Home, robot vacuums, tons of 4K TVs, and lots of VR gear. There are plenty of Black Friday classics, too – deals like the cashmere sweaters at Macy’s and KitchenAid stand mixers at Kohl’s are so consistently great that they belong in the Black Friday hall of fame. Let’s dive in.
#1: Toshiba 49-in. Class LED 2160p 4K TV with Chromecast Built-In

Toshiba is a solid brand and finding good 4K under $200 is unheard of. The bad news is that you’ll need to camp out in line in front of Best Buy to get it – this is the hot doorbuster TV of Black Friday 2016, and it won’t be available online.
#2: Amazon Echo and Amazon Echo Dot

You’ll see these nifty digital assistant gadgets everywhere at the same price this season, but our pick for actually buying is B&H Photo, where you won’t pay sales tax (unless you live in New York.) We have not yet confirmed that B&H will in fact be selling at this price point, and it’s still marked at full price as of our publication date, but we’re pretty confident the price will be dropping. And if it doesn’t, just go to Amazon, Best Buy, Staples, or anywhere that sells electronics. Heck, even Home Depot has them!
#3: Sony PlayStation 4 500GB Uncharted Bundle

Kohl’s has vowed to put all of their doorbusters online this year, so you may not even need to leave the house to score the best deal on a PS4 bundle that we’ve seen this season. The Uncharted bundle is $249.99 everywhere, but only here do you also get $75 Kohl’s Cash back. Kohl’s coupons cannot be used for this item.
#4: Xbox One S 500GB Battlefield 1

Of all of the Xbox One Battlefield bundles on offer this Black Friday, we like this one from Target, the only one to offer a gift card in addition to the customary $50 discount. Plus, you can take an extra 5% off if you charge it to your REDcard.

You’ll also find this same deal at Target and Best Buy, but we chose Walmart since they’ll let you schedule an appointment to get it all done. That makes it easier on everyone, right? But if you’d rather have a Target or Best Buy gift card, you have our blessing to go there instead.
#6: Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge

#10: Powerbeats Wireless Earphones

The discount on these popular wireless headphones is stellar, more than half off the regular price. Pick up a set to go with your new iPhone 7, which doesn’t have a headphone jack.

The KitchenAid stand mixer deals at Kohl’s Black Friday sale are one of the most popular deals that we run every year. It’s not an easy deal since it requires a coupon, a mail-in rebate, and Kohl’s Cash to reach the final overall cost of $120.49. The Kohl’s Black Friday ad itself doesn’t even take the coupon into account. But we have a lot of experience with this one and trust us, it’s absolutely worth doing the math.
#12: Canon PIXMA MG2520 Printer + 5-Ream Case of Copy & Print Paper

A $19.99 printer is a story on its own, but adding a 5-ream box of paper for effectively 1¢ makes this deal a lock. Not interested in Office Depot rewards points? It’s still a solid buy that would rate a spot on this list. Best Buy also has a $19 printer for Black Friday, without the box of paper, but we do expect it to be available online.

If your kid is screaming for a Hatchimal, you may have already discovered that they’re sold out everywhere. But don’t fret – Walmart has promised to restock with plenty of inventory in time for Black Friday. So please don’t fork over $200 or more to a reseller.

These cashmere sweaters seem to make it onto our list of the best Black Friday deals every year, but you totally shouldn’t mind. They’re wardrobe classics, luxurious and soft, and make a great impression under the tree on Christmas morning.

It seems as though every Black Friday ad has a Roomba or some other brand of vacuuming robot in it this year. Since they seem to be having a bit of a moment, it made sense to recommend the best of the bunch here. That distinction goes to Kohl’s where you can apply a coupon to reduce the price even further, and then get back $90 Kohl’s Cash to sweeten the deal even more. No one else even comes close.
#17: DJI Drone Phantom Standard 3

These drones are everywhere this year, and they’re expected to be one of the biggest selling tech toys of the season. Walmart has the best Black Friday price on them by $30. If you’re buying in the store you’ll need a wristband on Thanksgiving Day, but we’ve been assured that they’ll be available online as well.

For the last few years, we’ve included a washer and dryer set from Sears on our list of top Black Friday deals. That deal is back, if you’re interested, but it’s only available in-store, and in-store quantities are limited.
